Made to explore the balance (or lack thereof) in life and design. INspired by the colors, shapes, and ethos found in the high deserts of California and West Texas.
Exploration
Much of my travels have lead me to the high deserts of West Texas and Southern California. The expansive, rugged, essentialist ethos of those places inspires and captivates those with a creative mind - there, it feels like anything is possible. There’s a sense of freedom and clarity that suggest one can find balance.
inspiration
The idea of balance feels very rounded and curved as opposed to linear with sharp edges, so the collection focuses on curved shapes and compositions that evoke a mandala or have a meditative repetition. The colors are taken from desert sunsets and western workwear with a mix of textures that provide balance and depth.
